I understand that there are no guarantees of hours per day, work or location. Employment will be based on the needs of the department.(Required)

Training Consent(Required)

I understand to be eligible for housing work I am required to attend a Housing training session to be scheduled during Spring Recess on March 18, 2025 and March 19, 2025. Failure to attend this training will disqualify me from receiving a Housing assignment (based on seniority). Additionally, if I arrive more than 6 minutes late for training, I understand that I will not be allowed entry, nor will I be rescheduled for another training session.(Required)

Hours Consent(Required)

I understand that the typical schedule for housing is Monday through Friday from 8am – 4:30pm. Commencement and move-in weekend, the schedule includes Saturday and Sunday, from 7am – 7pm.(Required)

Holidays Consent(Required)

I understand while working in Housing that vacation and optional holidays must be approved by the Senior Manager of my assigned Housing area.(Required)

Commencement Consent(Required)

I understand that employees scheduled during commencement (05/14/2025 - 05/21/2025) and Fall move-in (8/01/2025 - 8/22/2025) will be required to work.(Required)

Communication Consent(Required)

I understand that all communication regarding Term Break will be conducted via email. I am responsible for providing a valid email address.(Required)

Cover Consent(Required)

I understand that I may be called to cover shifts in my Home unit, as business needs require.(Required)

Note: If you fail to respond to bid outreach for USC Housing or Hospitality during, you will remain on layoff status and continue to be eligible for future recall.

Covid Safety Requirements

In order to work on campus, you must have a current COVID test or a vaccination card. More information on vaccines available at USC Student Health.
All employees must upload a copy of their Vaccine card or Declination form on the MySHR Portal.
Health, Hygiene & Safety course completion is required.

If your contact information changes, it is your responsibility to contact Human Resources and update this information immediately. If we are unable to reach you via the below information we will recall the next most senior employee.

I have received additional information regarding Term Break, including the Letter to Employees and Temporary Maintenance Helper Job Description.

I realize it is my responsibility to read, understand, and abide by the information and procedures outlined in the paperwork I received. I will contact my manager if I have any questions concerning the documents or the 2025 Term Break process.

Further, I understand that I must submit my completed Term Break Request Form by the Saturday, February 15, 2025 deadline and that failure to do so will mean that I will NOT be eligible for the 2025 Term Break process.

If I choose to become a Temporary Maintenance Helper during Term Break, I understand that I must select a date to attend Mandatory Training. If I am more than 6 minutes late to the Mandatory Training, I will not be eligible to participate in the 2025 Term Break process.
